How partner-funded rewards work
Someone has to pay for a reward, and it is worth being plain about who.
Partners fund the rewards
Partner companies help fund rewards in exchange for agreed benefits, such as attracting customers, encouraging repeat bookings, or reaching travelers at the right moment. That is the money behind the points, and there is no other source of it.
Flightly runs the traveler side
Flightly provides the app, the points wallet, the rewards experience and the customer journey. Flight supply and ticketing partners provide flight search, booking, ticketing and order management.
What that means for what you can expect
Rewards, earning rates, eligible journeys and point value are agreed with partners before they go live. Flightly is not claiming to magically give free flights, and not every trip earns. What it does is take travel you were already doing and put some of its value back toward the next trip.
Why this is worth saying out loud
Rewards products that will not explain who pays usually have an answer the traveler would not like. Flightly would rather state it plainly and be judged on whether the rewards are worth having.
