What makes a journey eligible
Not every trip earns. Flightly would rather tell you that before you travel than after.
Eligibility comes from a partner offer
A journey earns because a partner has agreed to fund a reward on it. That agreement covers which operators, routes or booking types qualify, and at what rate. Where no offer applies, the trip is still saved in your travel history, it simply does not earn.
You see it before you travel, not after
When you save a flight, train, or bus booking, Flightly checks it against the offers that are live at that moment and shows you what it can earn. That is deliberate. Finding out after the fact that a journey did not count is the part of other rewards schemes that travelers dislike most.
Completion is part of eligibility
A booking that is cancelled, refunded, or never used does not earn, however eligible it looked when you saved it. Rewards are confirmed against the journey you actually took.
Offers change
Partner offers start and end. An offer that applied to a route last month may not apply this month. The reward attached to a booking is the one that was shown when you saved it, and your wallet keeps a record of which offer each reward came from.
